 e-governance is the application of information and communication technology]] (ICT) for delivering government services, exchange of information, communication transactions, integration of various stand-alone systems and services between government to customer .


CONCEPT OF E-JOURNAL 

There is no universally accepted definition of e-journal. Different terms used by authors include ‘paperless journal’, ‘virtual journal’, ‘e-serials’, and ‘online journal’. The experts in the fields give the definitions on the basis of production, distribution etc. Before coming to definition of ejournal, we have to consider first the definition of a journal. According to ALA Glossary of Library and Information Science (125) journal is "a periodical specially one containing scholarly articles and / or disseminating current information on research and development in a particular subject field".
